1. All microbes (bacteria, viruses, fungi) have negalively charged cell walls.
2. Livinguard treated textiles contain strong positive charges.
3. The weaker (negatively charged) cells are drawn towards the stronger (positively charged) cells.
4. Upon impact, the negatively charged compounds in the cell wall are absorbed onto the positively charged surface.
5. The compounds are drawn out of the wall, resulting in holes and disruption of the membrane. The microbes are inactivated.
